About the sessions
Buds & Blossom After School Yoga Club can be delivered to Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children. The classes run for 40 minutes and are delivered by one of our DBS registered instructors.

Each class is themed, with children going on a ‘Yoga Journey’ together, allowing their imagination to grow, while learning Yoga poses and basic acro-Yoga.  In each session we’ll play Yoga games and learn relaxation and mini mindfulness techniques along the way.

Yoga is the perfect way for children to finish their day at school.  Benefits include:

  • helps children to relax, unwind, and calm down, reducing stress and anxiety
  • develops self-confidence, self-expression, and body awareness
  • helps them sleep better
  • increases strength and flexibility
  • promotes a healthy, active lifestyle
  • improves memory retention and learning ability
  • stimulation of their imagination
  • promotes interaction between multiple children
  • improves their fine and gross motor skills,
  • as well as their coordination

These classes are suitable for ALL little yogis, both boys & girls.  Don’t worry if they are new, they will soon find their yogi feet.
